Who can join the Turner Swim Team?
All Swimmers ages 4-18 that can swim 25yd are welcome to join our team!
June 17th (the first day of practice) will be considered a "try out" day. All swimmers that have not swam for our team before, or are under the age of 10, must be able to show that they can swim the required 25yd length of the pool without touching the wall, the bottom of the pool, or the lane line.

When and where does the team practice?
Our swim team practices at the Burkland Pool in Turner, OR.
The 2024 swim season is 6 weeks long, starting on June 17th and ending on July 27th.
During the season we offer 4 practices weekly. Practice times depend on the age of the swimmer:

- Ages 11 and up: 7 am - 8:30 am
- Ages 10 and under: 8:30 am - 9:45 am
How much does it cost to join the team?
Our team registration fee is $175 for the entire season. This pays for our league dues, pool rental fees, coach wages, and a Turner Tiger Sharks t-shirt for every swimmer.
Swimmers are also encouraged, but not required, to purchase our team swimsuit that they will wear to all of our swim meets. Cost is between $30 and $35. For more information regarding our team suit, please visit our "2024 season" tab.
